A-Track session 11:00 GMT on 5 November

Embedding nature information in financial decision making

Accessing reliable, decision-useful nature data and connecting this to financial information remains a major challenge for businesses aiming to act on nature-related risks and opportunities. This session will explore the nature information pathways that shape business decisions— from how nature-related information can be reflected in financial accounts & statements, to how Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) can help structure the information to support this. It will draw on the insights and tools from the Embed nature programme, a core component of the EU Horizon-funded A-Track project, which aims to help businesses integrate nature into decision-making to support resilient strategies.
