Biodiversity information pathways
Reliable nature data and information are essential to produce accurate natural capital accounts and life cycle assessments and better understand the trade-offs between public and private sector actor activities and biodiversity.
The A-Track team has conducted an assessment of the nature information required and the current state-of-play for different businesses, financial institutions and public sector decision makers. Following this initial assessment, demonstration cases are in development, focusing on how accounting structures and principles can help public and private sector actors access the nature-related data they need for decision-making.
